Dr. Jessica J. Cameron (she/her) is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Manitoba and the Director of the Self and Interpersonal Dynamics (SAID) lab. She investigates the dynamic connection between the self and interpersonal relationships. In one of her lines of research, she focuses on how social categories, such as gender and beliefs about gender, influence interpersonal relationships. In a related line of research, she investigates the use of gender/sex measures in psychological research and best practices for more inclusive demographic measures that acknowledge and respect gender diversity.
